This
series of ambient music is specifically composed and produced by
Ingo Ito
for those listeners, who want to create for themselves an atmosphere
of tranquility – ideal for contemplation and meditation or
just relaxing from the daily rush.
In Zen Hanami, each piece of music is
sculptured by some distinctive musical loops playing in harmony.
A pool of sound - repeated like an endless mantra. But with each
loop having its individual length, it is a constantly changing soundscape
- it seems the same, but it´s always different.
The japanese word "Hanami"
literally means "flower viewing". Since many centuries
it has been the traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers
in nature, mainly during the cherry blossom season.
An ocean of blossoms, gently moving
in the spring wind -
a beautiful picture to accompany the music.
The albums in the 'Volume' series are based
on a specific theme:
Volume
1 started successfully in
2007 and reflects the progressing stages during a day from morning
to nightfall.
Volume
2 leads the listener through
an imaginary world of gardens - an ideal place for contemplation
and thoughtfulness.
Volume
3, the latest album, takes the listener on a journey
through a moonlit night - full of atmospheric sounds and unknown
spheres.
The 'Reflection' series present re-arranged
and re-mixed short versions of the original 15 minutes tracks of
the 'Volume' albums. Reflection
1 contains all songs from Volume 1 & 2 in new shape.
