Sleep & Poetry

This is the original Rain On Bamboo album, which was released in 1994. It started as a "home-production" on an 8-Track machine with nearly all songs composed on guitar. After taking it to 24-Track, the other musicians joined and it became a real "band" album with many outstanding contributions by Gabriel, Susa, Lorenz and Hans.

Mixing was really hard, because there were so many beautiful takes on tape and it would have been a shame not to use all of them. Luckily I could mix on a huge "total recall" mixing console at Riet-Studio, Berlin, and so with the help of the computer it finally became an album I´m still really proud of...
