Just a quick note: Work has begun on "Zen Hanami - Volume 2" while "Bamboo Industry - Hongkong Memories" is ready for mastering. Both albums will probably be the first releases in 2008.

I wish everybody a nice holiday season and stay tuned in the next year. Thanks!

The latest release in the shop is "The Sombre Poet" by Ingo Ito. This album is based on the music of the acclaimed audio book "Kokain". Find out more about the story and the music here.

Following in the footsteps of the Zen Hanami album being on top of the We7 Ambient charts, here´s an interview with Ingo Ito in the "We7 - Spotlight" feature.

After only a few days online the Zen Hanami album "Volume 1" rocketed to position no. 2 on the WE7 Ambient/New Age album charts! Check this out!

The Zen Hanami album "Volume 1" has successfully passed the so-called "Tastemaker Challenge" at a.o. Peter Gabriel´s new download platform WE7!
Now you may download specially abridged versions of all album tracks at WE7 for free, because the tracks are sponsored by a 10 second advertisement at the beginning.
Click here to go directly to the WE7/Zen Hanami page and find out more about the WE7 principle here.

Hey - here it is: the long (16 years) awaited Bamboo Industry live album "Versus The Sham Man - Live" is now available in the Download Shop. Read more about it here.

Unfortunately the summer break had lasted longer than intended and many of the announced projects were at rest. But now things are in progress again and the Bamboo Industry album "Hongkong Memories" and the Live-Album are in the making. "The Sombre Poet" is still lurking around the corner and with a complete new setup for live-looping, based on a laptop and software, I have started recording new tracks, with Zen Hanami - Vol.2 as one of the upcoming projects.

To offer a better listening quality, the MP3 files in the Download-Shop were changed to 256 kbps bandwidth.

Files at lower bandwidth (128 kbps) are now available at Amie Street (www.amiestreet.com) as a free download for a certain period of time and then they might rise to a maximum of 0,99 US $, due to the amount of downloads (learn more about the Amie Street principle here).

There´s a new single release of Rain On Bamboo available at the shop, called "Some Satellites" - a complete new remix of a previously unreleased song. Find out more here!

Also the free Tones as Tapas download has changed to Lugosi by Rain On Bamboo.

This is a musical reflection about the final years of famous horror film actor Béla Lugosi – addicted to drugs + alcohol, haunted by visions of his own film creatures from the past, striving for renewed stardom... and yet doomed to fail, leaving him just a lonely old guy in the suburbs with nothing but memories.

Some traditional Balkan music was modified and merged into the bubbling ambient athmosphere of guitar loops - nearly drowning the actor in his cocktail of morphine, booze and tears, until the final Mellotron strings seem to rise from this misery, taking him (and us) back to the glory days of past Hollywood movies.

A previously unreleased Rain On Bamboo song called "Some Satellites" will soon be available in the shop and on Indiependence Music.

Work has begun to compilate the album "Hongkong Memories" which will contain previously unreleased material of Bamboo Industry.
Due to this, the release of the album "The Sombre Poet" (music from the audio book "Kokain") will be postponed.

Here´s a short summary where you can find ITOFARM music on the web:

At IndiependenceMusic and Indiestore you might also buy music (same quality of mp3 as here in the shop).

I added the IndieX Music Link box on this page. This is a new independent advertising system which is based on exchanging links with music related sites. Each time a visitor comes to my news page, my own ad will be displayed on at least 2 other websites.
I can´t predict what type of links will appear in the box here (random choice by program), but the creator promised, they are all Indie-related websites which mainly are listed in the Indie Bible. I will see how it works. If it turns out to be a nuisance, I will remove this box.
For more information about this program and how it works (and if you maybe would like to join) go to Indie X.

Ingo Ito now on Indiependence Music.net!

Here´s another place where you might download songs from Zen Hanami, Rain On Bamboo and Bamboo Industry, some aren´t even available here in the Shop.

You can support all songs by giving them a good rating so they might end up in the IM.net charts!
Joining IM.net as a fan is free and easy to do - so go ahead and support independent music!

The latest releases are "Zen Hanami - Volume 1" and "Rain On Bamboo - Sleep & Poetry (Remastered)".

The first free Tones As Tapas download is taken from the soundtrack "Death On The Hood":

"Sunset On Sea" is a piece of shimmering guitar-synth sounds creating an evening´s athmosphere with the sun slowly sinking in the west.

At the moment I´m working on "The Sombre Poet". This is basically the illustrating music from the "Kokain" audio-book newly arranged as standalone versions.

Also I´m listening to some older Bamboo Industry recordings, mainly unreleased versions, to see which one might be an interesting download.
